Nice hotel in Funchal, close to old town. Good place to start your trips on Madeira. Rooms look exactly like on website, modern and well equiped, restaurant, car parking under hotel. A little problem is a noise outside hotel but if you close windows (and turn on air conditioning) it is quite. You should be carreful while driving in a parking lot - it is narrow. But generally I totally recommend this place.

Good location; pool and jacuzzi are nice and not overcrowded; rooms are spacious with a balcony; they do not have an iron or an ironing board, which is something that should be provided for such an expensive hotel

Good value. Only downside is that the aircon is poor. The beds are firm. Rooms are quiet and wifi is great. Best on 4th floor with front (road) and rear comunal area. Pool on roof is good with seating and sun loungers.
