Very good museum, nice roomy building and good exposition, everything is on polish and english.

What a treat this place was..have been to Łódź quite a few times, but never managed to drop by, and after coming today I wish I had!!
Great permanent collection, nice mix of Central European pieces.. The temporary collection (Jan Mancuska) was also excellent.
Free admission on Thursdays, but worth it every day of the week!
Only minor nudge is the overzealous 'security' that seems to spy / prey on you wherever you go.. Also note: you are not allowed to 'hold' your jacket in your hands so either keep wearing it or leave it with the cloakroom to avoid a confrontation!

Nice place, four floors of art space. Art is art but the museum is clean and nice. It was free on my visit which was nice. The security on each floor follows you around a bit too much, but suppose would be useful on busy days and if some unruly people came in :-)
