The bed makes a lot of noice if someone was moving around, so bring earplugs. But the bed was comfortable. It is located close to a supermarket, and it was a short walk to the jewish quarter and city centre. A bit shady parking but it worked great and was free.

Great place with a downstairs bar with old-style couches and decor. The bartender was super nice and played pool with me because we were chatting. Friendly staff and a huge amount of storage under the beds.

Great location, very professional and friendly staff, the place itself had a very good atmosphere (our room had Lenin chilling on a beach painted on the wall). The lounge/bar area is also a big plus. Of course, it's a hostel, not a hotel but what you get for such low prices is definitely worth it.

"Good bye Lenin Hostel" is located very well - not far from the Old town (the heart of Krakow) and just around the corner you'll find the beautiful Old Jewish quarter. The staff were great and really took the time and effort to go through some of the sights in Krakow during check in - much appreciated!
However - the only major setback is the lack of fire safety precautions. Upon a little inspection I found no smoke detectors or emergency alarm-system anywhere in the hostel, and the emergency hose on the upper floor were locked (!) inside it's cabinet.
The power outlet in my room were not even properly installed, and a minor incident anywhere in the entire facilities could be devastating.
Also, not to mention the shower in my room also pose a potential risk as the floor is tilted slightly too much and the floor tend to get very slippery when wet, which could easily be fixed by inserting non-slip floormat.
I hope the managers of this hostel fix these remarks as soon as possible, before it's too late.

This hostel was nearly perfect. It wasn't expensive, the location is good and everything is really clean. My mattress was really comfortable but other beds in the same room didn't seem to be that comfortable.
You could always ask for help at the reception and the staff was friendly and trying to help.
The hostel offers a really nice breakfast for free and even parking is available for free in the courtyard.
The only thing which was missing is constantly good working WiFi. Unfortunately it didn't worked well and was slow if it was working. In some places there was no connection at all.
