The country's best law school.

I enrolled a friend for the bar review class here. It took less than an hour to complete the process. Their review program is one of the best in the country, so a lot of graduates from all over the country flock to attend the lectures.

My high school alma mater. The school was excellent in academics during my time. Got strong moral and social values.

San Beda is an 'okay' place to study. It's well known for its accountancy and law courses, but I wouldn't say that it's one of the best.

Firstly, the people there, including their administrators, cram a lot.

They very often prioritize extracurriculars over the academe, as I've observed in my stay here.

They're quite religious, which is a good thing, but sometimes they spoonfeed it to their students, depending on their teachers.

Though their law and business courses are good, I don't strongly recommend taking the natural sciences here, since they still need to improve their depth on education on those fields.

Also, they have relatively high expenses. For college students, their tuition may reach as high as 90k per semester, but that doesn't include yet their extracurricular activities, which also cost a lot.

But one good thing about educatiob jn San Beda is their great focus on character through their various retreats, GICP programs (sort of like a Values class) and Theology programs (which, depending on the teacher, may inspire you, at least to a certain degree).

I went to this school for most of my life, until I moved recently. I still remember the messy classrooms. And by, "messy" I mean papers all over the floor, "beat-up" chairs, and markings all over the place. Most of the staff are nice. Some are okay. I also remembered how the playground couldn't be used by 3rd Graders and above. And if you see what the playrgound looked, you'd be shocked. If anything, the playground looks pretty dangerous for young children. The monkey bars are high from the ground. And there doesn't seem to be any safety precautions added. I also remember cases where we had to go to school on a SATURDAY for exams. Personally, I don't think that's a good idea. It breaks the purpose of Saturdays. Which is; relaxing, and taking a break from worksheets. Then again, from this school I was able to learn etiquette. For example, good handwriting, straight posture, focus in class, and being respectful. I suppose papers of writing your name repeatedly payed off. :D When I moved to America and began school there for the first time, teachers always commented on how I was the only one focusing. I was also renowned by my neat handwriting. So, I guess despite the school's cleanliness, I learned lessons that can help me through out my life. Thank you San Beda College, and I hope to visit you again someday.
