Pretty outside look. Unfortunately I was not able to get inside. But stay there if you are travelling legazpi as it's nearby lots of beautiful places and easy transportation for other far away places.

Nice place, near the town area. Clean. Wifi should be improved.

Ninong's Hotel's primary selling point is location. It is about five minutes drive from the airport, and is just a stone throw away from the Provincial Capitol and Legazpi City Hall. Not that it matters, but it is through this area that most public transportation passes through. Another major selling point of this hotel is that it sits right across a Robinson's Supermarket which is such a great convenience. It is also a block or two (small blocks actually) away from major outlets like McDonald's, Jollibee, Chowking, Yellow Cab, and Mercury Drug. If you also want to go to church, the Cathedral of San Gregorio Magno is right beside McDonald's.
In terms of service, reservation and reception can be coursed through major online booking facilities or directly via the hotel although they don't seem to accept credit card payment over the phone. I also haven't checked if they accept credit card over the counter.
The hotel offers complementary Airport Transfers. Yes, free. This is such a lifesaver for me who travelled alone to Albay for the first time via airplane.
I came to this place to attend a seminar but it was kinda weird when you go out of the elevator unto the 2nd floor since upon opening of the elevator door, you will see a blank wall in just about 2 or 3 feet. Going out uou will see on your left a dark narrow passageway, and to your right, a closed door (which was by the way was to correct direction to the seminar venue).
Food served was ok but jot outstanding but I am not sure if it was an in-house catering. Oh! For 2 days and a total of 6 servings, they served the same C2 solo drink! Maybe it ia the fault of the organizer but heck! They could have suggested variations.
WIFI is available but it is very slow. It might be because of the sheer number of attendees present in the room, about 30. Coverage is likewise spotty. My room, 305 has very weak to l o coverage at all.
Room is very decent and I had a full double to myself. Bed was a bit stiff to my liking and the linen and comforter was thinner that normal. Pillows are soft and fluffy but do not expect microfibre.
There are no minibars or anything. Only 2 bottles of mineral water to welcome you to the room.
Aircon is cold and good enough for the room.
Toilet has 2 soft but a bit thin face towels and 2 equally soft but a bit thin bath towels. It also has your standard cheap tooth brush and tooth paste kits, shampoo and conditioner (in sachets --- not worth keeping as remembrance), and miniture soaps.
And the most important information of all... it has a bidet and hot shower. No tubs though.
Rooms are accessed via key cards and there is an electronic display outside for the "do not disturb" and "make-up room" indicators, as well as for the door chime.
Alas, not all rooms have a view of the majestic Mayon Volcano. Apparently, even adjacent rooms (eg. 301 and 302) have different views.
Each room also comes with breakfast buffet stubs good for 2 pax. But do not expect a grand buffet like that of Vikings. During my visit, Day 1 served tinapa and an almost humba like adobo. You also have an option how your eggs will be served eggs. Desert options were kutsina, banana, and sliced oranges. Brewed Coffee and juices are also free-flowing. But don't expect much about the coffee, it is no where near your Batangas Barako and similar quality beans.
I guess that is it! Enjoy!

The place was so good, the bedrooms and the event center. The event center was big enough to accomodate guests for certain celebrations. The staff and crew are very responsible. The room was clean with complete package of toiletries. There's robinson's too in front of the hotel, you can easily buy stuffs you needed, and it is also near to a church and some restaurants. ☺

Stayed two nights in February. Great staff. Hotel front is on the quietest street in the Philippines. Good location in Legazpi, grocery across the street and lots to do/see within walking distance.
