It's trying to be good. You can see that aesthetically it is quite made up but the food options in the the restaurant and the very pricey mini fridge in the room are very basic. The staff are very good and the service is good. There's a shop/pharmacy attached to the hotel although you're forbidden to bring any food or drink from outside the hotel in. The pool and courtyard area is clean, well lit and open late which makes for a nice touch to the lack of things to do near by.

We've stayed here and experience was great and my kids enjoyed the pool. Attendants are accommodating , nothing more you can ask for a budget hotel . . Great experience....

If you are looking for a budget hotel, then Cebu Hilltop Hotel is one of best options. They are situated few meters away from Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. This is just a small hotel which is not so overcrowded. It looks like a typical mansion house where you can rest for few nights. They have a small pool and they do have buffet meals. What I like about this hotel is that the staffs are very friendly and accommodating.
