Unreliable and Expensive charging 10000.00 pesos for minor repair of two teeth. Booked three days in advance and requested a price on how much it would cost to get my two top front teeth repaired. Receptionist told me the doctor would advice pre-consultation. I grind my teeth so the two top teeth required rebuilding on the ends. Additionally one of the teeth had a small hole. I am from Australia and did not have this done but I did get a quote from NIB medical center in Melbourne..
On the day of the booking the dentist arrived 20 minutes late. He proceeded to do the work that took 1 hr 20 minutes. His work was good and he was happy in nature.After work was done I went to receptionist who had a hand written receipt of 10000.00 pesos for two teeth repair. It is equivalent to $288 Australia. I was horrified at the amount but I paid it anyway. I asked for a receipt but they did not write what I was paying for on the receipt but hand wrote on the back of invoice after I asked them to itemize the work. They also expect you to sign a waiver before they commence work or consultation. I am a foreigner married to a Filipino woman. I have used Dentist in Manila and Philippines and they charge 650 to 1500 a tooth for fillings. To be charged 10 000.00 Pesos for two teeth is not professional. STAY AWAY from this place especially if you are a foreigner. Dentist in the same center said they charge 2400.00 min to 3800.00 Max for the same work. So in short I believe I got ripped off bad 3 x the price someone else would have to pay for this work.
