Waiters were nice enough but did not speak a word of English. They didn't even understand the word: What? XD Was funny though. I just ordered something (since the menus was only spanish) and it turned out alright. Good food. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. We had the lunch menu (2 course + Anis tea + pisco sour) for 10 soles which is basically nothing. Could only recommend. Learn some spanish first though ;)

The atmosphere is so quiet and traditional, excellent to talk with friends and drink artesanal beers.

Visited on Wednesday 8th February. It is still a traditional German bar in the heart of Lima. I love the traditional "salchipapa" with German sausages. The "algarrobina" and German beers were good . There is live piano, an old guy that plays but doesn't sing. Pity that next to it there is a disco bar with not pleasant music.
