We spent three lovely nights at this small, charming boutique hotel in the lively San Blas neighborhood. The staff was consistently helpful, informative and kind and the place is lovely, with a fine blend of local culture and comfort. Lovely lobby and rooftop terrace for reading or sipping tea and the artisans, restaurants, music and history of this city start right outside the front door. Bravo!

Friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. They do small things such as trying to call everyone by name (they did well remembering my wife and I). They even ran sometimes to hold a door or help my wife and I with our luggage. The staff all spoke at least decent english (except maybe the maid, but that is okay).
The room was not the largest or fanciest I have ever stayed in, but it was cozy and inviting, which is even better in my opinion. The only thing I would have liked was a refrigerator to keep the leftovers my wife brought home one night. Unfortunately, that food went to waste.
They keep a container of filtered water in the lobby, which was very convenient so we didn't have to buy so many bottles of water. It was extra nice for me, who drinks almost exclusively water. They also put hot water bladders in the beds shortly before guests typically go to sleep to warm up the bed during cool Cusco nights.
The hotel restaurant was very good. In fact my wife said it was her favorite meal she had in Cusco. The included breakfast buffet was an assortment of fruit, bread, cheese, cereal, and 1 or 2 hot items.
There is a nice rooftop area with seating if you want to relax and get some fresh air during your stay.
The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops, and is only a few blocks from the main square. It was easy for us to walk to everything we wanted to see in the historic district of town.
This is a wonderful hotel, and my favorite we stayed at during our trip to Peru, which included nights in Cusco, Aguas Calientes, and Lima.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Situated in the San blas area with lots or artisan craft shops and artists. Very close to the main square of the old town and tourist attractions. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this place was nothing short of fantastic. It's cozy and unpretentious, and only a couple of blocks from the main square. There are also plenty of great dining and shopping options nearby. Service was friendly and attentive (and they always remembered my name!). The included breakfast buffet is fresh and delicious. Should I ever return to the enchanting city of Cusco, I will definitely be checking back in Casa San Blas Boutique!
