Excellent B&B in Cuzco, staff is lovely and always helpful, English speakers so makes it easier for travellers, storage service and pickup from the airport available

Great hotel for Cusco - quick walk down to the plaza (but exhausting walk back because of the altitude if you aren't acclimitized). Beautiful views, and with wonderful little courtyard on top. Rooms are nice.

We stayed at Pension Alemana two full weeks. The place is adorable, private, clean and well kept. The service is outstanding. The rooms are spacious, clean, with comfortable beds and a private, spacious bathroom. The best part is the cafeteria. Breakfast is abundant and delicious (included in the price of the room) as is anything else you order there. They have also a nice selection of beer and wine to relax with in the evening. We did not mind the fact that is located in the neighborhood of San Blas, a bit uphill from the Plaza de Armas, as it is a quaint and quite neighborhood. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas and you can always take a $2 taxi back in the evening. They were very gracious about keeping our luggage while we traveled to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley for a couple of days. We highly recommend it!
