Established in the year 2000, initially the S.A. Hadi Memorial C. P. & Berar Academy was a girls college offering education in all faculties, i.e. Commerce, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Arts. In 2001 a school for girls named C. P. & Berar High School for Girls was opened in the same campus. Prof. Miss Qudsia Khanum has been the principal of this academy since then. I took admission in class 5th in 2001 and passed my HSC in 2009 from this institute. Quality of education here can be judged from the fact that so far two of its students have topped in Karachi Board in S.S.C. Exams, Marium Junaid in 2005 and Faryal in 2012 in General group. The fee structure is highly affordable.. scholarships and concessions are offered to deserving students. I used to pay only Rs. 500 per month in College under scholarship for having achieved A-1 grade in Matric. Its administration has never aimed wealth, and this might be the reason behind the fact that, sadly, C.P. & berar College for Women has been closed in 2012, however the school remains in its place offering the same quality education.
