I like Biffhuset Scarven. The staff is very friendly and the food is exeptolionally tasty. Very cosy place to be with friends or family during long arctic evening with snow fall behind the window and interior of hunter lodge.

If you'r stucked in the past this is the place to come to. High prices bad and boring food. Use your money elsewhere. The whole place is bad. If you should eat in any of the restaurants do not tip.

It's great meat house! Lot's of choice and a nice atmosphere to eat in. Friendly staff make you feel welcome

Biffhuset Skarven is a popular restaurant for both locals and tourists alike and on weekends should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Dishes are varied and excellently cooked, the staff have good recommendations and will match you with a wine that perfectly suits your dish. It's friendly and welcoming, but definitely crowded. The scene inside could be described as cozy, and very Norwegian to it's core.
My food was excellent, both desert and the main meal. For a main meal expect to pay around 300-450NOK per dish. The food was plenty filling though and absolutely worth it.
I highly recommend the reindeer steak and sausage. :)

Nice outdoors where to enjoy the local beer from Mack. Right on the corner with a great view of the opposite shore if there are no ships in between.
