Great museum, very informative and has a lot to offer despite being small. I loved the films shown as well - a really nice touch.

Really interesting exhibition, as others have said the emergency evacuation simulation is really lifelike, trying to find your way out in the pitch black with alarms going off is quite frightening! Also very much enjoyed the main room full of large scale models of assorted rigs and the old drill heads worn down after use. Well worth a visit.

A really nice museum on the history of the Norwegian Oil Industry and off-shore oil production in general. All the descriptions are also in English and very well thought out. What surprised me the most is the fact that they not only speak about the positive effects the oil industry is having on Norway but also talk about side effects, accidents and climate change. Definitely well worth the 2 hours you should spend here.

This place is big enough to be interesting and small enough to fit in a few hours. You can easily get there and it tells the story on oil and gas from start till end. It is telling the Norwegian story but is generic enough. Great place to visit with kids too.
