I went here with my family after a cruise with Skibladner. We arrived quite late, so the restaurant was empty. We were greeted by the waiter who started what would be a great experience at this place. One of our company did not speak Norwegian, but they had menus in English, which is always appreciated. The food was lovely, cooked just the way we like it, the waiter swapped effortlessly between languages, and was incredibly personable. He joked with us and always kept an eye on us, but not obtrusively so. They served their steaks in a variety of ways, and none of us had the same, but we were all very happy with our food. The food was well presented, and the garnishing vegetables were not overly cooked, still retaining a lovely crunch. I would recommend the cinnamon ice cream, but we were all happy with our desserts and the options. I would really recommend this place, an utterly lovely experience.
