We've been eating here off and on since 2010 when we moved to Nijmegen. Quality of food has always been excellent. However, last night's meal was really not up to standard. The phesant breast was cooked well but the accompanying mushroom/brussel sprout "sauce" was 1) a bad combination of ingredients 2)thick and gluey and 3) visually unappealing. Pumpkin soup as a starter was tasteless. One of our guests had the pork; the sauce on the top looked like baked chocolate and, again, the visual aspect of the dish was not at all appealing. The seebarsch dish seemed to be ok both visually and with the combination of herbs and sauce. The gratin potatoes were luke warm, the cheese on the top unmelted. All in all, a huge disappointment. Staff were warm and welcoming as usual but has there been a change of chef in the last 3 or 4 months? Seems so. Based on last night's meal I would not recommend the phesant or the pork.

Prachtige locatie, mooie ambiance, heerlijk eten, mooie prijzen, mooie presentatie/opdiening, vriendelijke bediening.
