The Westfries museum is a great place to discover the history of the city of Hoorn. With beautiful paintings from the Dutch Golden age and many recreations of original living conditions. Next to that the building itself is also dated from the Golden age.
I have visited the museum multiple times and have enjoyed it always. They also have a changing exposition and are constantly trying to deliver history in a new way.
