Enthousiasme is merkbaar bij de medewerkers. De geschiedenis wordt goed weergegeven. Locatie is prachtig. Je kunt ook de toren beklimmen. Je wordt beloond met een uniek uitzicht over het Maasheggenlandschap en de Mookerheide.

Boeiend en mooi vormgegeven museum. Fraai uitzicht vanaf de toren over de rivier de Maas.

Museum Ceuclum is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the history of Cuijk. It's right next to the church, in a tower of the old church. There are interactive panels that tell about the history of the area, and of Cuijk itself which was founded by the Romans in their upstream march towards the north.
It's possible to climb up several flights (note - no comfortable wide stairs, but ancient circular ones and a few plain wooden ladders) where you can go up to floors that show some antiques, higher up is the original bell tower and even further up you can go to the 'roof' of the tower and walk around it, which offers a magnificent view of the area at 35metres / 110ft high. Climb up with good weather and you can see many miles around!
If you like history and/or archaeology, this is a place you shouldn't miss. The people there can assist you in Dutch, German and English.
