Today we attempted to use a girocoin offer for a free second 3 course meal. Although the offer stands for another two days, we were told that Grand Café Mahler does not accept them anymore. Disappointed, we cancelled our reservation.

Its nice to hang around and drink a beer but don't expect anything more.
There's only one waiter who is unmotivated and negligent. This only got worse when he realised one of our party did not speak Dutch.
Tap water is unavailable unless you order a drink and once we ordered our drinks we still had to wait and ask for our water.
Food took too long and wasn't nothing to write home about.
It has a great location and its wonderful to see people walking by such a busy street.
