Mooi gelegen, stijlvol en ruim ingericht. Klant gerichte instelling om een prettig verblijf te garanderen.

The house was very spare with minimal kitchen supplies. It was dirty, the wooden floors, dining table and coffee table marked with oil stains and other dirt. Food from the previous tenants was still in the fridge. There was small kids and baby stuff everywhere, broken plastic toys in the yard and even a large crib in the living room. The grill and all the outside furniture was filthy and we had to thoroughly clean it all before use. Several times a day an older man walked by and tried to look inside. Evidently he reported back on our comings and goings. The King bed was broken on one side. Afterwards they refused us the security deposit, even though we left the place cleaner than it was. This was a "luxury" rental with a high weekly price. I have stayed in rentals all over the world and regularly do house swaps and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Aan Zee should give their home owners a lesson in customer relations because I will now not be using this home rental service again.

Beware, the house owners that use Aan Zee DO NOT RETURN THE SECURITY DEPOSIT of E200. I have rented dozens of homes all over the world. I have swapped numerous times always with very happy results. I have twice rented a home in Bergen through this company and both times the houses I rented were dirty and poorly maintained, yet both times they made up stories that justified in their minds a reason to keep our E200 security deposit. One owner even said "well, let's face it, a security deposit is never returned." Owners also have "spies" for their houses. With both rentals strangers stopped by, would close the garden gate if we left it open and in one case two pitbulls came storming in, followed by a friend who was checking on us. They report back on the tenants, like how many guests came and went etc. Not a pleasant experience and I shall not be going back there again.

House was extremely dirty (it had clearly not been cleaned, as there were hairs everywhere.), also no maintenance had been done on the house for years. After notifying the company we were told 'this is how Dutch people live'... They didn't offer any compensation - considering the price we would have expected more.
