Ruben's relocated a little north of Puerto Nuevo and you need to watch for his sign just across the small gulley. Tall sign with blue lettering.
Great lication with good amount of parking. Sunday buffet is our favorite. The selection of food covers traditional Mexican items mixed with made to order omelets/eggs, waffles, shellfish, kabob grill, salads, desserts, oh, and the bottomless mimosa. Food changes as the hours pass from breakfast to lunch with more beef and pork items available. The staff are attentive, speak English, and know their regulars. This is a good place for groups because the variety of choices will suit anyone and you can linger over your visit. Entertainment is singers and dancers and make sure you look through the items peddled because sometimes you find a gem!

We normally stop on our way to Ensenada to have steak and lobster at Ruben's. They have now moved to the north side of Puerto Nuevo. The service is nice and the food is good. You can get a lobster FEAST for $25.00. But...be aware..they charge 3% extra to use your debit or credit card! Seriously??? I guess this is an honest way to steal from the customer. We have always been good tippers but...this is ridiculous. If each family spends $100.00 it really adds up for the owner. It was not charged in the past. Well...lesson learned...we WILL NOT be going back. I am sure there are other restaurants where there is NO extra charge just because you can...that extra 3% is an additional tip we could give to our waiter. SHAME ON YOU RUBEN! You have lost a customer...

An excellent restaurant for any time of day. Their Sunday brunch is amazing with tons of food choices, entertainment and great service. We come every single time we are in Baja!

Apparently they just moved locations three weeks ago. I'm glad that we did not follow the GPS, and saw the sign while we were driving down the road. The girlfriend and I had the guacamole and chips appetizer, then the Rubens Grill Seafood meal for two people as our entree, and I have to say it was pretty dang delicious.
If you are looking for this place, it is just North of Puerto Nuevo. Very nice restaurant and decor, was very surprised! Came in here just before 10pm and asked when they close. Their answer? We close after everyone leaves, enjoy yourself, we are here for you.
