The absolute worst. They will try to steal from you if you let them. We rented our car at the Cancun airport where we were originally going to return it. We tweaked our plans a little and called Hertz customer service to see if we could return it in Playa del Carmen instead, they said no problem for 600 pesos more. Not cheap, but worth it for less hassle. When we arrived to the location here in Playa, everything was horrible. First the building is nasty and falling apart. Second, the people working there are absolute criminals. They will pretend not to be able to speak English if you try to call them out on trying to do something shady. The price to bring the car there instead of Cancun magically jumped from 600 to 1000 pesos, and they also tried to charge us 1000 extra pesos for a little bit of sand on the floorboards. We refused of course and called Hertz customer service to try and resolve it. While on the phone the woman working there insulted my pregnant wife and I, which is completey inexcusable. Once they figured out we would not let them steal from us, we paid the original rate, after they received a call I presume. Hertz should cut this location off, it is a disgrace.

We rented a car here for 4 days and at the return we had to pay 400 Pesos extra because the car was not completely clean. In fact it was just a bit dust from going in and out of the car. Very unfriendly personnel. I can absolutely not recommend this place and will not come back. As a costumer I felt pressured without any reasonable cause. It felt like they were doing that with other costumers as well.

So lazy, unfriendly service, terrible quality of a vehicle. A lot malfunctions and charged extra fees of $1000 mxn. Also supposed to get a car at 0730 and came up at 0830. Worst rental service ever.

I rented a car for 2 days at a special rate and then ended keeping it for 5 days. They respected the rate for the extra days. I had no problems at all. Some of the staff can be a bit unfriendly but a girl named Luisa was great. Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.
