This is the worse customer service. Don't use this company, they are the worse, they do not care about customers only about the money they can get from you. They offer you full insurance cover but does not cover the tires??? nor the windows??? so you need to pay more $$$$ that is so rediculoussssss. Stay away form this company. They made Mexico look bad. Terrible service with deceptive practices. While reserving the car rental with Volaris, we were told that the total price of the rental would be remarkably cheap, at about 60 dollars for a 10 day rental, which we figured would also require some additional fees/taxes based on better insurance coverage. However, when we arrived we were given the actual total price, which came to about 570 dollars with full coverage, or about 350 with liability/basic insurance coverage. We reluctantly paid for the service since we had no other reservation booked and had already arrived to the office from the airport and had no other mode of transportation.
This was only the beginning. Because of the cost of the insurance, we weren't able to get full coverage and had to settle for liability. We carefully inspected the vehicle and pointed out damages one by one to the vehicle, some of which the employee claimed were negligible and miniscule and would not be accounted for when the vehicle was turned in. We rented the car for about 10 days, in which we took very careful care of the car, never drove it off a paved road, and always parked it in safe, secure locations away from places where it could be damaged. During our trip, we read some concerning reviews about shady practices with charging for damages that this company seems to be infamous for. Sure enough, when we returned to turn in the vehicle, the lady at the malecon La Paz location pointed out a tiny blemish to the paint near the bottom of the front passenger door, which we had previously identified to the employee at the airport location and was told we could ignore. We went wrong by not taking pictures to prove that this damage was there when the rental occurred, and we were told that our damage report when we first rented this vehicle did not have this damage marked off. We were then charged an additional 70 dollars to cover this damage, and were told there were other minor damages that were being ignored, as if this person had just done us a favor by ONLY charging us 70 dollars extra.
Last time I ever rent from these people, I would not recommend them to anyone. We were somewhat fortunate in that I speak Spanish fluently. Otherwise, I can't imagine how much they would have screwed us over further. Pay the extra 5 bucks a day for the peace of mind of knowing that you won't get ripped off when you return the vehicle and ALWAYS take pictures/videos of everything.

If it could have been possible, I would give a 0/5 at this rental "service". We used to pay 33 USD for a week rent, bit at the arrival they forced us to pay 300 USD !! And if it was not enough, we give the car back with 1L of gasoline, and they charged us 15 USD for that, without advertising us !! They just close the contract and said to us "Ok you have to pay 15USD for the gasoline"

At the first moment until the last one, only trouble. If you have too much money, they will find solutions to take it from you don't worry!

I rented a car from Fox in Central La Paz and when I returned the car one of the employees (a woman wearing heavy makeup and braces) told me there was new damage to the bottom of the front bumper (there wasn't) and tried to solicit a cash bribe. When I refused she harassed me and made derogatory comments. I have filed a formal complaint with Fox. In the meantime avoid this location, and especially the woman employee described above!
