Not a clean place.
If you like to feel you are behind jail gates then this is the place.if you wonder why he has 4 star rating it’s paid for by hotel.

Cheap and clean...men running the place are friendly. Not crowded and in the middle of Balad. Walking distance to Citadel and the Roman coliseum

It's central and not expensive but I didn't like it. They demanded payment before showing us room. It was noisy and tiny, just a size of 1.5 bed. Toilet and linen were dirty. Constant noise from car horns... Stayed one night and changed to other hotel.
