Guesthouse Rico was a great place to stay in Wakayama! We had a wonderful (huge!) room with tatami mats and futons, a kitchenette, and tea room. We also have a lecture in their space on the ground floor, which was great! Thanks. For the great stay!

Guesthouse RICO is a very pleasant place to stay in downtown Wakayama City. The guesthouse has industrial design style throughout. There are private rooms and shared hostle style very affordable rooms. The lobby is nicely designed and has a public computer, meeting space, guidebooks, really cool plants, and beverage bar. Hosts are very familiar with Wakayama and helpful for you to explore. I highly recommend Guesthouse RICO!!

An excellent place for backpack travellers to stay. You'll get to meet with other travellers from various of Japan or even from different parts of the world. You and the hosts will chat with each other during dinner where you can make Temaki Sushi DIY~
