Everyone wants to pick on the engineering majors for their "factory-like" campus, but I'd like to be the odd one of the bunch and say that they have it pretty good.
Not only are they immediately next to the swimming pool, but they have a pretty decent food selection and an even better overall vicinity for them to stack. While everyone in the main campus is running about class to class (avoiding Gingko nuts might I add!) and having an even harder time finding places to eat without HORRIBLE LINES, theirs are pretty nice in comparison.
Also, all the school buildings are technically shared by all departments, so no specific school has "dibs" on any building. Building 3 (Seikei) seems to put off this elitist aura in the eyes of some, but really it's open to any school, just talk to your professors about it! The only school that, practically speaking, breaks that mold is, you guessed it, Nishi-Waseda.
Some of the buildings on the main campus have horrible internet connection and broken A/C units, so at the very least Nishi-Waseda has that stuff for sure, right?
Cheers!

Too many buildings but still a beautiful campus.
