I don't understand how it can be profitable to run such a great hotel for such inexpensive room rates. My room was like 50CAD and was terrific. Highly recommended.

It's not fancy but comfort hotel for family trip. We stayed for 3 nights during Obon season. It was first trip for us in sapporo. We booked this hotel very last minute 36 hours before check-in.
The room is large and clean except carpet seems little old that made some smell. Hotel located about 10 minutes walk from Oodori koen station but car park was cheaper than other hotels only 1000yen.
Breakfast was not so quiet satisfying but i think they are reopening a restaurant so maybe you can count on that when it finishes.
We had little issue with baby's precious :) doll got lost from a bed, it ended up cleaner wrapped blankets with the doll inside and sent to laundry company. But front desk clerk helped us to find it and shipped it right away by fast international mail that we got it 3 days after the trip.
Thanks for all and it was nice hotel after all, especially I love how playground in Oodori koen is right in front of the hotel.

The most disappointing hotel of the year for me. Don't understand why this hotel gets almost 4 stars from TripAdvisor. The room is low maintenance, dirty and bad smell. The staff is always smile but not helpful and cannot communicate well in english. The location is ok, next to the park but not near the shopping street with 15-20 minutes walk. Quite a long waiting time for breakfast and elevator.

Very serviceable hotel. Central to Sapporo, with access to both the city tram system and the subway (the central Sapporo train station is one stop away).
Cons - beds were hard, the toilets were tiny, and the overall look was dated. No pool nor gym neither.
But otherwise a sound hotel with all the facilities of a traveller who plans on spending the day out.
