I ordered a galss of guinness stout, the old bar tender told me jpy1,000. I said ok. Requested to bill, disappointed that they added in jpy1,500 cover charge which they never said so at the very beginning.
I refused to paid and felt been ransomed. they told me they will call police, I agreed.
Having explained to the policemen, they said every bar may imposed different cover charge which I am aware of, the issue is that they never said so and no menu served.
I told them I was at red bar last night, out front they told me cover charge of jpy 500, I happyly agreed, every drink is supported by menu, well done.
Unwillingly, i paid a total of jpy 2700...+ misc charges and walked away.

Reserved and cautious. The bartender does not allow us to take close look on the detail of whisky bottle labels and put back on shelf in hurry.

Beautifully made cocktails with fresh ingredients. The bartenders were very professional but also easy to chat with despite the language barrier. I really love the cozy and friendly atmosphere.

I've never seen cocktails made with such professionalism and passion. There's no menu here, but don't let that shy you away. If you're not sure what you want, just tell them what you like and they'll mix up the perfect cocktail.
