Service for the place is great. Even if we didn't put a please make up the room sign, the staff should always put a laundry bag with freshly folded towels, yukata, and bottled water in front of our door. The location of APA is why we always stay at this hotel when we visit Osaka. It is literally a 5 min walk to Dotonbori, the happening area in Osaka. Room wise, don't expect much, it's a Japanese hotel, so Japanese level accommodation vs over the top rooms in US, real estate is a luxury in Japan.

It's clean and the deco is modern n nice. It's also cramped and built for avg Japanese size with minimal luggage. I would say a size Medium guy from north america would be the max the room can accommodate reasonably. A warning for those who travel in between season. The hotel runs on central air conditioning meaning either cooling or heating. I checked in on Nov 1st n they switched over to heating on Oct 31. Outside temp was 19c - 14c but inside my room, with the air conditioner off (heat only) and windows opened (very noisy), it was 27.5c. With the windows closed I saw a max of 29.5c. for those who couldn't handle the heat, be warned.

Bad exprience from checking in couldnt find our booking the person looking for our booking was A.Kinoshita. as soon as a team member helped out it was better Dropping off luggage was pleasant in the morning

room is small small and small. I expected it is small, but cannot expected it is really small. But what you pay, what you get. I stayed in 609, the end of the corridor. The room can barely put 2 big luggage that is already use up the space just behind the main door.
The location is good that near Shisaibashi and Dotonbori.

APA Hotel offers small rooms, but that is expected in Japan. The rooms have everything expected from a hotel. You might need to ask for extra towels, but the front desk is very nice and will provide them without any hesitation. The beds are great and comfy. It is also conveniently located next to Dontonburi, about a 5 minute walk, and about a 10 minute walk to the subway station. Would stay at this hotel again while visiting Japan.
