The owner Nao was very helpful. English speaking and provided a nice and quiet room in a great location.
Highly recommend if staying in Nagano!
The owner even spent a few hours helping me find my lost train pass, going to different police stations etc.

This is a truly sweet place, with a really nice interior and a great owner. The staff are also brilliant. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to see Nagano in the snow.

The best hostel in Japan so far! The hosts are just awesome and the vibe is great! It's a small hostel which makes the hostel really personal and after a day of hiking it feels like coming home. Couldn't recommend this hostel more, there is even a Sake bar in the hostel itself!

Stayed here for two nights with a friend on our recent visit to Nagano. Lovely, friendly hostel in the quieter end of Nagano. Right beside the temple, it's close to the Main Street but equally quite quiet. We were surprised how warm and snug it was inside considering it was really cold outside. Lovely spacious bunk beds and a lovely lounge area downstairs. Very friendly staff. We would happily stay here again.

Great spot for travelers what what to stay couple of nights. Very small hostel with max. 12ppl.
Do not expect too much, just that what you necessairly need to stay.
The place has only one bathroom and one toilet, but there was never problem with that. Kitchen has all what you need with complimentary Breakfast !
Nice lobby room with Sake bar, just a 2 min. from one of the biggest temple in Japan. Walking to city centre taks 15-20 min. or 6 min by train.
