My first question to the hostess, before she even started to seat me was "Eigo menyu?" I am sure I butchered the pronunciation, but she seemed to understand and even grabbed a menu and gave it to me. Well, the "English menu" had about 12 words in English. And it was downhill from there. I pointed to a picture in the menu to order (attached). When the food arrived, the waitress who spoke some English tried to tell me that the green round things in the picture were the button mushrooms that were on my pizza, and that somehow, my diavola pizza (according to the google translation of the Japanese) also had pancetta on it. The waitress offered to get me another pizza, and I agreed to a simple margherita. Another 30 minutes passed, and still there was no pizza. In the end, I left 90 minutes after I arrived, and I ate no pizza whatsoever.
