The private room was clean and comfortable, with its own bathroom facilities. A great location on a small island south of the main Venice island. Fewer tourists by far, cheaper prices and much quieter. The WIFI didn't work in the room, but the incredible view from the rooftop terrace made my stay memorable.

Huge and nice room. Simple but has all necessary. I'd come back to a cheap visit to Venice

Sunny Terrace has clean single rooms with ensuite bathrooms that are perfect for a solo traveller on a budget. However, when I was here the kitchen was out of service which caused me some inconvenience... and money.
Also, the wifi does not work in the individual rooms, or at least not in my room which means I had to use the common room every time I wanted to go online. This was frustrating and should be mentioned ahead of booking.
Overall it is a quiet, decent place to stay in Venice, nice neighbourhood and easy to catch the various boats over the grand canal into the centre.

Hostel is awesome. People who work there are very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and ready to entrance when I arrived, very comfortable bed and prepared fresh sheet was waiting at it I'm gonna come back soon to Venice and also to Sunny Terrace Hostel.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms but no air conditioning made sleeping in overnight temperatures of 28 deg C uncomfortable mid-July. Short boat trip to main Island. Peaceful and away from the crowds. Good local fruit and veg shop, cafes and restaurants.
