The view is great, and that's why the food is overpriced for the quality. But the wine (per bottle) prices were normal for Venice and the bread was fresh and really good. And bread is everything!
The caprese was also good because the whole tomatoes and mozzarella didn't seem to be frozen, and the former was in season. Some of the other entrees didn't look great, so foodies beware. But the service was good and friendly. I honestly didn't mind paying a 20-30% premium for the view. If you don't mind either, this place is a decent option.
