Great choice to get away from the crowds near the marina. Wonderful food and friendly people. I would recommend.

I tried two japanese restaurants in Syracusa as after 2 weeks traveling in Italy need a change of cuisine. This turned out to be one of the best meal of my trip do far - although fusion only a few japanese dishes. Try octopus cooked 3 ways a cleaver and delicious

Great Japanese/Italian restaurant ! They don't do fusions, just offer sashimi or sushi etc as an appetiser or main :) Sashimi was nice, scampi linguine was great, nice staff - they forgot one of our mains, however when asked about it they brought it out within 10 mins and didn't charge us for it :) no view really unless you sit really close to the balcony windows, which we had to close because it was unbearable without the air con on ! All in all, great restaurant with an extensive wine list.

The menu includes a handful of Japanese dishes, including sushi/sashimi. The majority of the menu is classic Sicilian food. We tried both. The sushi is super-fresh and everything tasted pretty good. The place is upstairs and fairly quiet, so perfect for groups or those looking for a quiet dinner. The owner is charming and will make sure you have a great evening. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Very good service, nice atmosphere and place (a cool cellar overlooking the sea), and very nice food. He is Sicilian, she is japanese: they offer good traditional Sicilian cuisine and a few selected Japanese specialties. The tuna is excellent, either raw or cooked (with an orange and fennel salad), as is the caponata. No pizza, no huge carte, just a few good dishes. Unpretentious and recommended.
