I've been traveling with my wife for 20 days throughout Europe... Portugal, Spain, Nice and in Italy Rome, Florence and Venice... all 5-star Hotels.
In Venice... the Westin is a HUGE rip-off. They charged 100 Euros for 2-double screw drivers... $9.00 for bottled water. We shared a salad my wife had pasta and I had fried calamari for $247.00. In that included a cover charge of $24.00... they charge their guests to eat at their restaurant.
I am extremely disappointed. We've also stayed at many, many Westin's around the world and I will never frequent another one again.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Amazing place and a great view of the city. Drinks were very good, only had appetizers. Prices were very high and it was incredibly windy.

Service was great. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. Great variety.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located to all the sites in Florence. We had drinks and watched the sunset from the roof top bar on evening and would recommend doing that. The doorman Danielle is extremely helpful and made sure our stay was perfect.
