This is a good place to stay, friendly staff at the front desk. Unfortunately something was misplaced within our room and were unable to find it after someone had cleaned the room. And the room was also right next to a elevator. Very loud at times.

Fantastic hotel that feels like you are walking around in a castle. The breakfast room alone is worth this hotel and the rooftop view with a bar is the cherry on top. Rooms were nice and big and clean. Location is also very close to the Duomo and the staff is very kind and helpful. They upgraded our room for free when we asked with no issues. Excellent staff and hotel. Thank you :)

Beautiful place centrally located. Nice rooftop bar with a great view of Florence. Historical setting, the original structure was build in 1596. Decorated very nice. The only down side is they tend to undercook their scrambled eggs but I guess that's a European taste. Would come back again.

A great value if you want to stay in an "old" hotel. Plenty of character, with a decent bathroom, and the AC works (which can be hard to find in Italy). The rooftop bar is amazing, and the staff was great. I'd stay here again.

We only stayed for two nights so it's hard to get too detailed in what we liked and didn't like during our stay. The room was nice but could probably have used some updating, the bathroom in particular had a few issues including a very small tub that was hard to stand in. The rooftop is to die for and offers some of the best views in Florence. Morning breakfast was very good and the dining area was a sight to be seen all on its own.
