Hotel Virginia

Was greeted at the stairs and bag carried to my room which was very clean, airconditioned and with its own ensuite. The decor is a little quirky but so am I and I loved it.
Walking distance to the train station, a local market and many bars, shops and restaurants.
I would recommend Hotel Virginia to any budget traveller.
The staff are friendly and polite, if I returned to Rome I would like to again stay here.

Okay for the price. Can be quiet noisy at night. Closed gate so you have to tell receptionist when you wish to leave. 24h reception free WiFi and aircondition. No restaurant. But close to metro and pizzeria. Nice bathroom for the price.

Have everything you essentially need. Good value hotel.

Hope you don't get room #6. They wouldn't move us to a different room upon request after midnight when we couldn't sleep due to excessive noise. This room is right next to the front desk and has no sound proofing. We could hear everything in the lobby verbatim including movies watched by the front desk attendants and their conversations in Indian. Lots of noisy chatter all throughout the night kept us from sleeping. Checked out 3 days early. We requested a non smoking room and got a smoking one too!
