Great place, was able to walk all around to see everything I wanted and the restaurant food is amazing. You are just able to hear what is going on in the corridors and outside your window. Garbage truck collection is quite early in the morning if you are wanting to sleep in.

Great spot - quite close to the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and walking distance from virtually all Rome sights (some further than others). The street has many restaurants on it for cheaper than the more tourist-trap areas. Our room was small but mice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Really bad experience!!! Was Our first trip as a couple and we chose Italy as it was our dream destination at the time. We initiated our visit in Rome that was an amazing city however, this hotel was awful.

When we fist arrived to the hotel room we notice right away the bed linen was dirty and then on further inspection we could see toilet paper in the toilet and one of the towels was used.

We called the manager right away . she came immediately and after being shown the reason for our concerns she called the housekeeper and they began talking to each other, shouting in front of us in Italian.

Because We are Portuguese we could understand most of what was said and we were basically accused of doing that ourselves and we were called liars in front of our faces. We made sure to tell the manger we could understand and we were very offended what she ignored and continued speaking in Italian to the housekeeper, while she cleaned.

No apology was given at any point in time to us. The only reason we didn't left was because we didn't was that to ruin our all holiday. If I could I wouldn't give any star.

( me & my family) had a great stay there the last month. Anything in Imperial Hotel was really fantastic even more than what i expect. Good location nice and helpful staffs, delicious breakfast and optimum cleanness are some of the reasons i suggest Imperial to all of friends and family to stay in when in Rome.
