Hotel Colonna Palace

Breakfast was top rating. Table linen cloths and real silverware and dishes. Wide variety of food. Emloyees of dining room were fast, friendly and efficient. My room was small with single bed, cleaned daily, but ok if you're not in it much with one small standup closet. My sons room was a little larger with a double bed and closet with shelf space. No microwaves. Refrigerator was stocked with some beverages. Don't know if that was additional, didn't drink them. Staff throughout was friendly and efficient. Being this was right by the Parliament it was heavily guarded and had to show my room key many times to get into perimeter to get into hotel. If you're a tv watcher be prepared to watch in Italian only. No radio/clock in room.

Great hotel, central location to everything you want tosee in Rome, staff were excellent and kind, and the views from the roof are gorgeous (Flavian Ampitheatre (Colosseum), Vatican, Altar of the Fatherland. Only complaint was that the Wi-Fi was pretty terrible, which is pretty "first world problem" esq but it was definitely annoying. I'd really say it was 4.5 stars.

It is in the heart of the city. The terrace is very nice especially in the summer time. . Only bad thing is that furniture is quite old. ..

The location was perfect the breakfast amazing but the rooms were old for a four stars hôtel the rooms were not good at all

Located in the very heart of Rome near Italian Parliament. Friendly staff, good breakfast and nice view from the restaurant.
