I experienced with LOCAUTO something to be called a legal trap. I had already fully paid the rent of the car for two weeks, via autoeurope and Locauto informed me that my credit card was a debit card, so they couldn't make the deposit from my bank account. I had the money on my bank account and I could even lend them the deposit in cash, they refused it. They forced us to pay the highest amount of insurance to pick up the car, with no possibility to get any money back from it. The cost of the insurance doubled the price we paid for the car. It was too late to cancel. Either way, cancelation or renting the car, we had to lose or spend 600€. Locauto was unfair and unpolite toward us. We spent one hour waiting before reaching the desk, then one our at the desk trynig to get a solution. Our experience with this company was a complete nightmare.

Really liked it. Booked via Enterprise car rent, which used Locauto as their agent in Rome. Got the car I wanted. Lady explained everything perfectly. Of course, paid a deposit, which was duly returned after vehicle return. No delays with that, even though I returned the car in Pisa. So, Locauto exceeded my expectations, thus 5 stars! Well done!!!

I usually have very good experience in car rental. When i Voiced that cause of her printer issue there is a system glitch on rental starting time and they end up charging me extra day at 120 a day when my contract is 30 dollars a day. when i voiced it to her. She told me to go away and start cussing me out. I have never ever in my life. Been a world traveler i have never had this experience. Stay away! I booked through national car rental and they push it to local services. even though i thought it was an enterprise location.

Long wait to get the car. I never stand so long to get it. I think that the staff need to be trained or the company do the things easier.

Very goo service, friendly staff and good cars. A warning though that you do have to walk to a parking garage once you get your keys in order to get your car. The only problem with renting a car from here is trying to get in and out of the termini area which often jam packed with cars.
