OK place. Located less than 10 minutes walk from the theatre. Quite cheap compared to the other ones close by. Inside a little dated, needs renovation and new furniture. TV very small. But everything is working fine including the air conditioning and clean. The breakfast is okay, standard for Sicily. The staff is super friendly!

I thought long and hard about this review. You really do get what you pay for (we paid 50 euro a night) and is definitely not a four star hotel. Hotel room has weird smell when we arrived as did bathroom, decor is very very dated. Staff were friendly on check in.

There are multible negative reasons why I give 1 star, as follows:
- dirty rooms when checking in (found one bottle of orange juice in the fridge open and half drank and problems of housekeeping team of understanding the "do not disturb / make up room" label on the door knob) to be more precise we were disturbed with the do not disturb sign on the door and did not received cleaning service when we had make up room sign on, which was actually hillarious.
- when checking in from several rooms, we were automatically given one of the worst rooms dirty and with a view at the fire escape ladder. After reporting this to the concierge we were given a room.with a balcony which was an upgrade from what we had reserved.
- used up furniture and used up hotel all arround (mix style or to be more accurate the lack of style domimates every common room)
- modest breakfast (bad coffee, cheap coffee machine, cheap prosciutto and cheese, ok paistry but a bit too few)
- cheap tv which stoped working after a while...changing chanels with a considerable lag)
- minibar empty and only available on request only and very few choices.
The position is ok but although it seems close to the maine sites it isn't. At least it is in a good/safe neighborhood.
Good wi fi (faster than mobile network)
Probably for a business trip would receive a 2 star because you don't care as much for the comfort, but when your in a holiday you just don't want a mediocre hotel to affect your mood.

Good sized, clean rooms with AC. Fast WiFi. Good location, walking distance to the old quarter.
