The hotel is about 3 strars quality. Standard breakfast - only 1 type of chees, ham, egg- large but not renovated ( probably they have some new as well) room. The pool area is smaller than it seems on the pictures. Great design photos-much more simple reality:-(

Very good location, nice rooms, very kind and helpfull stuff at the reception desk and in the restaurant during breakfast. Best pool in Abano Terme and good opening time.
But you can't have a drink in a lobby between 2:00 and 5.00 p.m. and you can't have a drink at the pool after 6:00 p.m. inspite the fact that lobby and pool are open at that time and both have bar. No enough stuff??!!
Breakfast is not as good as in a average hotel in Abano (doesn't suit the 4 stars hotel at all).

Hotel Terme Venezia is a nice place to spend several days and relax. It's not very large, but the pool area is decent size and not overpopulated. Saunas are clean and well maintained, the Grotto is absolutely amazing, it was my favorite place at the entire spa area. Massages and mud treatments are pretty basic.
My definite likes are:
- Grotto!
- Very clean and comfortable rooms.
- The hotel is close to a nice pedestrian area with bars and stores.
- Breakfast with all these Italian meats and cheeses. Great coffee, I don't know why they can't have the same coffee machines at American hotels, and we have to drink this coffee flavored water from plastic cups.
Dislikes:
- Older public. I understand the resort is not designed for a young crowd due to its nature, but I did not realize the majority will be in their retirement age. It's not bad, I am just not old enough :).
- No water anywhere except of the bars. When you have a thermal treatment or swim in the very warm water, you get dehydrated, but there are no drinking fountains or bottled water anywhere in the spa area, you have to buy your own. It's inconvenient and can get pretty expensive if you always go to the bar. The water at the store is 30 cents for a 1.5 liter bottle, I think the hotel can afford putting one bottle to each room every day or make them available in all public areas.
- You really have to check your bill, I encountered several extra charges for services I did not have. I understand, people make mistakes, it happens, so checking is recommended.
An overall experience was still pleasant, I will probably come back when I get older.
