Brilliant waiter made the experience. He was very easy to talk to, very personable, had great wine knowledge and recommendations of how to get an authentic Genoese experience. Veggie options were limited (unless you eat fish and/or parmesan).

Nice restaurant, plus the waiter speaks Italian, French, German and English to a
really good level. We were a group and he served everyone in his own language, that guy is amazing

don't let the where this restaurant is or what it looks like from the outside put you off!
I have visited this restaurant twice now (and will be definitely going back again) for lunch and for evening meal and each time it was a great experience. By experience I mean the whole visit. the staff were wonderful and the waiter (Carlos) was very helpful, his English was impeccable and he described he food with such enthusiasm and so well everything sounded so good.
he was right to be so enthusiastic as the food was wonderful and some of the best Italian cuisine I have tasted.
For my evening meal i just told him to bring me what he considered good and was not disappointed, i had a ravioli filled with a Sicilian cheese and smothered with the most wonderful pesto sauce i have ever tasted. this was followed by a stake covered with a Gorgonzola cheese sauce. the stake was so tender without a hint of gristle and tasted divine.
I will hopefully be going back again.
