Great museum, really gives you a good overview of what happened during the invasion of Sicily. Lots of things only in Italian, but that doesn't really matter.

Brilliant air raid simulation along with a brilliant scene of a sicilian town square to walk round in. Bunker in the museum was fun with the real life model shooting the gun surprised us. The conditioning wasnt working when we came but it was posted that that was the case and we were also told that upon arrival. Brilliant museum for anyone interested in ww2 or even just the history of sicily itself a definite must see if you have a spare couple of hours. Cheap too!

The museum closes at 16:45, but you can not enter after 15:30 (I think, I might not remember the exact hours). We came there at a few minutes after 15:30, after walking very long in the burning sun with our luggage, but still we could not enter :(. So we just had to wait for a few hours in a café for our bus. Oh I was so disappointed because I had read the other people's comments that it would be so interesting, but now I will never know.

One of the best war museums I've ever seen. Worth the 3 hours to get all the detail put into it!

Nice place to know more about WWII history.
