DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, The worst experience in car rental that we have had from the last years. These people are thieves, you will probably have to pay for damages that are not true. They will try to make you lose your nerve (by threatening you verbally and physically) till you pay and be able to take your flight. Back in country, don't waste your time with their customer service, it's a pure joke.

Stay away from these crooks! While using the car, the plastic keychain broke, which made using the lock system mildly inconvenient. But the real inconvenience arrive 2 days later when we received an email charging us 105 Euros on our credit card to replace the 1 Euro piece of plastic. Not nice people. Rip off artists.

BE AWARE! We hired from AP Transfers Catania, it was late at night and we were tired, when we picked up the car it was filthy, scratched and damaged all over, the dashboard was split and the bodywork was shoddy, in short the car was a banger. We had a 50 minute drive to our hotel and very soon we noticed the cars suspension was shot and one of the headlights was not working, it was in my opinion a very dangerous car. The car was so filthy inside my hands stuck to the steering wheel. I was so staggered at the condition of the vehicle that I searched the company on google and saw the reviews that claimed that they owners were thieves and that they were scammed by AP transfers and had money taken out of their account by the company claiming damage had been done, with this in mind, the next mooring i took photos of the car inside and out from every angle so that I had photographic evidence of the car should they take money from my account without my consent. I called my credit card company to say that I EXPECTED AP Transfers to take money without my permission when I handed back the car and was there anything they could do, WARNING they said that because I signed a pre authorisation form with the company they could still take money from me even though I notified them of suspected fraud. Today AP Transfers emailed me to say that they have charged me €1500 for a scratched radio, a scratch on the car and a broken dashboard, all of which was there when we collected the car. There is no doubt in my mind that this company will steal from any customers unfortunate enough to hire a car from them. I will be taking legal action against AP Transfers to recover the money they STOLE from me. The owner of this will reply saying I have it all wrong but look at all the other reviews, I will post the results of my legal action against this company when I have reached a conclusion. My main reason to post this damning review is in the hope that I can save other unsuspecting customers to be stolen from in the future. I don't understand all these negative reviews; as far as I'm concerned, AP TRANSFERS is my go-to car rental every time I come to Sicily for work. The location of the booth is just perfect, right when I step in the arrival wing.
I've rented various cars in the past years, and made sure I got the insurance package set up. Yes, a few of the cars have scratches already, but you won't be receiving any fraudulent charge on them. If you got charged for bumps or scratches, it was probably you who damaged the car and didn't even notice! Besides, everything is in the fine print and clearly stated by the employees so no surprise charges. The ladies working at the counter are very nice and knowledgeable (thumbs up to the blonde lady who speaks perfect English and French, she's the best!)
The packages are also convenient. I have never received an extra charge, never had issues, no complains whatsoever. Haters will be haters, and it's easy to use google reviews to give vent to dissatisfaction and complains, but if every happy customer took the time to write a positive review as well, AP Transfers would have solid 5 stars.
I'll go to Sicily in 2 months and I already know I will have comfort and peace of mind thanks to this car rental company.

I made sure they noted the damage under the front bumper. There weren't any issues when I dropped it off and no additional charges on my card after two weeks. I bought separately car hire excess insurance for £12.50 for the week so wasn't too worried about this anyway.
