Terrible. A/C didn't work. Was told there was nothing that could be done. Minimal power outlets to charge your devices. One pillow. Cramped. Old and worn down. The front desk woman who complained that food in Bologna was too "touristy" and she would never eat in the downtown when asked for a recommendation. Mediocre breakfast. Wifi was slow and hard to find a spot to connect to. Convenient to the train station.

The hotel in general is clean and stuff are really kind. Room are small and it's overpriced

Advertised as having air conditioner, and complimentary wifi and breakfast. Air conditioner doesn't even work, neither does the wifi, and the breakfast isn't actually complimentary. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Not impressed... but there's hope
I genuinely wanted to give this place a better rating but couldn't find enough positives to outweigh the negatives. Although the staff members were really nice and friendly, my overall experience leaned more to the negative side.
On the positive side, as I mentioned, the staff members in general were polite and friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable, although some parts of the bed were starting to "sink in". The overall cleanliness of the hotel was also generally good with a small exception noted below. The location is great, both close to the city centre and the train station. There are plenty of shops and places to eat in the immediate vicinity.
On the negative side, he air conditioning unit in the room was not working apart from just making a noise to give the impression that it was working, but it wasn't actually blowing cool air. This was a huge drawback due to the fact that the temperature during my stay was on average between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius. To make matters worse, I couldn't even open a window to get fresh air because my room had no windows, only a skylight. This was by far the most negative aspect of my experience, which unfortunately persisted throughout my stay despite the fact that I reported it immediately.
Apart from the above, a few other negatives included: old carpets that were visibly worn and stained; parts of the wallpaper that were torn and peeling; the soap-holder inside the shower (or at least what looked like the place where the soap holder used to be) appears to have been broken for some time (the rust on the screws was telling) and no one cared to replace it.
There was a small desk to work on, but there was no power plug near the desk to connect a laptop or any other electronic devices.
There was a tray with cups and a kettle also placed on the desk, but again, there was no plug near the desk to actually use the kettle. There was ONE complimentary bag of tea, but no coffee available.
The place was generally clean with some exceptions. Thorough cleaning should be an expected standard in the hospitality industry and especially in areas like the bathroom and the toilet. It was particularly unpleasant to see a couple of "spots/stains" on the toilet seat that were overlooked by the cleaning staff.
In sum, although my individual experience was not good, it actually wouldn't take much effort to raise the standard of the hotel to a three or even a four star rating. Management should consider investing in some of the infrastructure and undertaking some revamps to the hotel in order to give it a fresh feel and make it more pleasant.

Old and ugly, dirty carpets, wifi didnt work, noisy, breakfast buffet cheap, bad coffee. Good area, kind staff but really not worth the cost.
