Terrible service.
Side orders were out.
Orderd drinks and food at the same time, we all finnished our food befor our drinks came.
Waited 20min for them to clean a table so we could get seated.

A cozy, elegant place with great food and good service. A little expansive though.

Not a bad anerican/french menu. The hostess did not know how to anticipate table availability, and told us to come back in 15 minutes. Instead we waited by the bar and saw her seat two others without a reservations. We asked again and we're seated in 5 minutes.
The Lamb Burger was cooked medium and they got it right. The Mac's Gruyere was light fluffy and very creamy. Btw, the french fries with the burger were not good. Soggy and old.
The resto is open 24/7 and the wait staff is very good and kind.

I have never felt less welcome at a restaurant than I did today at Zuni . From the perspective of a left, liberal, agnostic family- professional Canadian parents and super cute kids- truly appalling service. They refused us water for 20 minutes. Then they refused us the bill for 20 minutes. We paid with shekels in full and left (without ever getting the bill) . We suspected racial/ethnic bias. Lots of people with guns in the restaurant. Perhaps their regular clientele are rich Israelis and not tourists. We felt less important than the flies buzzing around the bread. Food was mediocre and prices were high.

Great restaurant. Looks great. Really good service. Above all the food was amazing. A bit pricey but well worth it.
Don't miss out on the peanut butter and chocolate cake, it was delicious. :)
