I have two dogs. My parents have a dog. My sister has two dogs. We wouldn't trust anywhere else with our dogs. These people are great at what they do any very friendly. They don't try to make you buy stuff for your pet just to make money.

Absolutely excellent vet in all respects. A skilled team of really nice people who really look after your animals.

I just did the maths, and I believe my family and I have been bringing our pets to Barna Vets for almost 10 years! Inevitably in that time they have seen us through good days and bad, and always with equal parts professionalism and compassion to both animals and ourselves. The vets and nurses all go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, and you are guaranteed to find a smile and a friendly word; they all know each of our current 2 dogs and 5 cats by name, and by character, and in fact still refer fondly to pets who have passed away years ago! They leave us in no doubt that they are 100% invested in the animals' health and happiness, and our peace of mind. The clinic is in a lovely spot, with plenty of parking behind and is right beside the beach - a great plus for dog owners. I absolutely recommend Barna vets and their wonderful team, and know that my animals - in particular Leo the cat who considers a trip to the clinic to be a special treat! - would too!

I can honesty say you will not find a better Veterinary Clinic and if you are looking to be treated professionally, by very friendly staff in a well run clinic, look no further as you’ve found it!
I moved to Barna from The Netherlands a few months ago with my family and our very loved dog, Kira. One of my first jobs was to review local Vets and after reading positive reviews about Barna Veterinary Clinic I visited them. From the very first phone call and visit I found all the staff to be extremely friendly, knowledgable and very prepared to go that extra mile in providing second to none customer service.
Kira is a German Shepherd and has had dietary problems for the last few years but in the past few months started to lose weight dramatically. She had dropped to 22kg which was a lot lower that her very best weight of around 30kg. She was looking thin and started to get ear infections. We were obviously extremely worried about her health as she has been receiving daily medication for some time to combat these issues, although she'd never lost so much weight before.
I provided our Vet, Leanne, with pages of my dog’s previous medical history and countless verbal updates. Leanne worked through this information, discussed every option with me and carried out many tests. After reviewing results Leanne arranged other investigatory work for Kira and then spent the time explaining to me the results. I felt complete trust in the Clinic and knew they passionate about returning Kira back to health. We have had many visits to the clinic since then and have always be able to book appointments that were convenient to us.
A month or so on and Kira is doing much better and almost reached her highest ever weight. Yes we have new medication, but for the first time ever we understand exactly what her medical issues are. Although I had been happy with the service provided by our Vets in the Netherlands and prior to that in the UK, they hadn’t achieved the results Barna Veterinary Clinic have.
We are extremely thankful to all the staff at the clinic and I highly recommend their services to you. I will remain a very grateful customer for all their hard work, even if Kira is a slightly less willing attendee.
