Amazing hostel! Not exactly a 5-star when it comes to how it looks, but it's perfectly fine if you need a place to sleep that's very close to the city center. I'm amazed how nice the staff is. They're all awesome and extremely helpful. Had a bit of trouble since we had been drinking one of the nights but the staff was extremely nice. When my credit card didn't work the "Morning after" they just let me have a coffee and a water. They were always nice and cool. Great hostel!! :)

If you re looking for a place to sleep, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE ! Thankfully I am only staying one night. I know how hostels are and that some like to have fun but there should be QUIET HOURS! I did not sleep at all because nobody has respect for anyone. Doors are slamming all night, stairs are very loud, people are singing and screaming. I went to see the man at the reception, he told them but nothing changes. This is the worst night I ever spent. I actually thought about leaving at 4:30am but to do what ?
The kitchen is dirty, the floor slippery, fridges smells, garbage is full and dishes dirty. Staff is not too bad.
1€ PER DAY TO PUT YOUR LUGGAGE IN SAFE PLACE, because no lockers in the rooms, this is the first time I see this, it's stealing.
Parking is free from 6:30pm til 8:30am so do not arrive too early. Breakfast is 3€/PP and nothing special.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unless you want to stay up all night in a crappy place.

Very friendly staff (Paddy) with nice big kitchen and social areas. Close to great parts of the city once you manage the super steep hill up York St. Basic breakfast for 3 euro, but I didn't try it. Not a lot of power outlets in smallish room, but overall I really liked this place. Only lockers are also rentals in a different room downstairs that are cheap and large. It is a very popular hostel so would recommend booking in advance. I was able to secure a Wednesday and Thursday night but the weekend was booked up. Allegedly there is an issue in Cork with not enough housing.

Pretty decent layout. Small but cozy, they offer onsite overnight laundry service for 5Euro which is a bonus for travellers. Sadly, no lockers in the rooms, they have a locker area that you pay 1Euro per day to use plus a 5Euro deposit for the key otherwise I would have given 5 stars. The area is perfect, well within walking distance of most shops, pubs and attractions. Great and friendly staff!

Stayed for 2 nights and it was nice. A lot of stairs but that's to expect from a hostel in Ireland. It was close to everything we wanted to do and fairly simple to get to (lots of signs). We didn't spend much time actually in the common areas but everything seemed clean and well-kept. Beds were more comfortable than the last couple we've stayed at
