Nice stay. I would say best in town with reasonable room rate. Enjoy the local food served during breakfast

Breakfast was good, the room was quiet clean but i could smell the smoke in the room eventhough i booked the non smoking ones. I love their welcome drink as well, the markissa juice from makassar

Book a room with pool view and its awesome. Its not a good choice for a budget travller since the rates is quite expensive with the average services and facilities.

I booked a nonsmoking room, but when I came, I was given a smoking room. My mom and I can't stand cigarette smoke and forced to stay because it has already made payment. There's no effort from the hotel to provide non smoking rooms that I have previously ordered.
The bathroom door could not be closed tight and could not be locked. Electricity often goes out. 3 days 2 nights I live here and in the last 2 days the electricity often went out. On the second day, my mother and I had to climb the stairs to the room because the lift did not work. I live on the 5th floor.
I didn't imagine what would happen if I lived on the 16th floor and had to climb the stairs to my room because of important necessities.
One star I give each for breakfast also for frontliner and housekeeping crew friendliness.
For breakfast, there are plenty of choices, from local to international food. There must be typical Makassar and local food presented in 1 day: kue talam, bongko klapa, kue traditional, kolak campur, coto makassar, sup konro, gado-gado, bubur ayam, nasi uduk.
For international food also provided many types of cheese, muesli, almonds, donuts, salads, yogurt, cake variations, toast.
The waiters were also spry in summarizing the dirty dishes on the table without being asked.
Try their sarabah (a drink made from ginger juice and javanese sugar) at the lobby. They serve it as a welcome drink. Good enough to refresh our body. When I came there was a man playing traditional instruments at the lobby. You can watch it while drink the sarabah.
The frontliner crew and housekeeping very kindly gave me an explanation of every question.

Clean, staffs are polite and helpfull, room is spacious and relatively clean except for the balkon. I doubt they clean it everyday.
Downside is the breakfast. Many options but lack of taste. Getting a cup of tea during breakfast requires some patience.
