I remember 26 September 2004, that was my father's birthday. And what an amazing night that turned out. Delicious food. I still remember the Veg noodles, Mutton Rogan Josh and that Ice cream.

As far as India goes it's pretty good. But by normal standards it's awful. In any decent country the fire department would close it down instantly. The electrical fittings were hanging out of the wall, and sparking if touched, and the fire sprinklers were on the wall instead of the ceiling, which would be hilarious, unless (until) there's a fire. The door key cards kept failing and having to be re-done by reception. My sink basin plug could only be pushed down, never made to go up, unless someone came along with a plunger to get it up. Which they did every day, why not just fix it? The light in the bathroom was humming and clearly about to either conk out or burst into flames.
Food was Ok, but pricey, receptionist could not care less, it was clear they thought we were a nuisance. I mean all these people spoiling their day by asking for their key cards to be re-done all the time.
The management are just sucking money out of the place and not maintaining it, probably in the hope of claiming insurance when it finally burns down.
